Experiments in Colorful Abstraction Virtual Exhibition

These images are recent works from my ongoing conceptual series: Colorful Abstraction. I aim to challenge the processes by which we construct our understanding of reality. This exploration of color and form yielding painterly photographic images. Using a multi-step process and in-camera manipulation only (no digital manipulation or AI) these images are derived from a fabricated alternate reality that exists only for the duration of a creative session. Although images are reminiscent of our physical world, they contain limited contextual clues, so the viewer is encouraged to question and debate how they process and categorize the imagery to fit into their perception of reality.
