I am honored to have been selected to participate in fstop504’s second annual group exhibition, MANIFEST. This exhibition highlights the creative range within the fstop504 community, featuring everything from editorial shoots and landscapes to portraiture. This year’s show was curated by Matthew Weldon Showman, Partner and Director of Ferrara Showman Gallery, Richard McCabe, Photography Curator at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and Joliet Morrill, President of fstop504.
fstop504 is also hosting their December photoshoot along with this event! The theme is Curated Affair. This is your moment to dress your gallery best. Pull out that outfit sitting in your closet you haven’t found a reason to wear and come out !
Experiments in Colorful Abstraction Virtual Exhibition
These images are recent works from my ongoing conceptual series: Colorful Abstraction. I aim to challenge the processes by which we construct our understanding of reality. This exploration of color and form yielding painterly photographic images. Using a multi-step process and in-camera manipulation only (no digital manipulation or AI) these images are derived from a fabricated alternate reality that exists only for the duration of a creative session. Although images are reminiscent of our physical world, they contain limited contextual clues, so the viewer is encouraged to question and debate how they process and categorize the imagery to fit into their perception of reality.

This exhibition is a selection of works from my decades-long exploration of LIGHT, LINE, and FORM—three elemental forces that together spark an emotional and physical response. I employ a process that uses minimal digital or darkroom manipulation to preserve the initial moment of inspiration.
